Overview
A family is seeking an experienced, attentive, and engaging Temporary Part-Time Infant Nanny to care for their infant, who will be approximately five months old at the start of the assignment. This position will run from December 1, 2026, through January 30, 2027.
The family is looking for a knowledgeable infant caregiver who understands the importance of consistent routines and developmentally appropriate care. Experience caring for infants with reflux is especially important, as the baby is currently experiencing reflux and requires someone who can confidently follow the family's established feeding and care practices.
Maintaining the baby's nap and wake-window schedule is a top priority. The ideal candidate understands infant sleep needs, respects established routines, and can consistently follow the parents' preferred schedule while remaining attentive and responsive to the baby's individual needs.
The family would also love someone who is active, warm, and engaging, with a genuine interest in infant development. They are looking for a nanny who enjoys incorporating age-appropriate play, sensory experiences, outdoor time, and early learning opportunities into the baby's day. As the baby approaches the introduction of solid foods, the nanny should be knowledgeable and comfortable supporting this transition.
The schedule is Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM–4:00 PM, plus alternating Saturdays from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM. This could be an excellent opportunity for an experienced infant nanny or Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) looking to bridge the gap between contracts or supplement an existing schedule. However, candidates must arrive well-rested and fully prepared to provide attentive daytime care; those coming directly from an overnight shift will not be considered.
