Overview
A warm family in Venice, CA is seeking a reliable, proactive, and engaging part-time nanny to help care for their 6 year old, starting at the beginning August. The schedule will be 7am-12 noon Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate is organized, nurturing, flexible, and comfortable supporting the household during the mornings. There is another full-time, live-in nanny employed, so candidates should be collaborative team players
Responsibilities
- Getting the child ready for school in the mornings
- School drop-off on occasion
- Light housekeeping and tidying related to the child
- Laundry related to the child
- Preparing/cooking meals for the child
- Providing attentive and dependable care
Qualifications
- Candidate should be comfortable driving either the family car or their own reliable vehicle
- Organized, dependable, highly responsible and self-directed
- Superlative references are a must
Requirements
- Must be a driver with a valid license
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Candidates should ideally be open to traveling with the family and/ or staying with their son when the parents are out of town
Salary and Benefits
- $40–45/hour DOE + overtime
