THE HOUSEHOLD
A private residence in Dubai, home to a professional gentleman who is a valued previous client of The Private Standard. The household is calm, warm and run with a light touch, supported by a small, growing team: a chef, housekeepers and drivers. It is a relaxed environment where organisation matters, but intensity does not.
THE ROLE
A live-in House Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day running of the home and bring structure to a growing team. The right person is extremely organised yet relaxed in manner, and builds the schedules and routines the household needs without making it feel formal or tense. There is genuine scope to grow within the role as the household develops.
— Oversee the daily running of the household and keep it consistently well organised
— Create and manage schedules and routines for the household team
— Lead and support a small team of housekeepers, drivers and a chef
— Recruit, onboard and guide new team members as the household grows
— Coordinate household needs, supplies and service providers
— Be the principal's calm, reliable point of contact for all household matters
— Care for the household's animals alongside the team, including a pet bird, with the possibility of a dog in future
— Take part in a handover to ensure a smooth start
THE ESSENTIALS
— Dubai, United Arab Emirates
— Live-in, with private staff quarters (own bedroom and bathroom)
— Full-time, six days per week
— Candidate must be based in the UAE
— Salary competitive, dependent on experience

THE CANDIDATE
An extremely organised, easy-going household professional who leads by example and keeps things running smoothly without fuss. You are warm, discreet and dependable, and you enjoy building a good team culture.
— Proven experience in a house management, household supervisor or senior housekeeping role
— Currently based in the UAE
— Extremely organised, with the ability to build and maintain household schedules
— Calm, relaxed and approachable, with a light-touch leadership style
— Experience supervising or guiding a small household team
— Genuinely animal-friendly, and comfortable around a pet bird and a possible future dog
— Complete discretion and respect for privacy
— Ambitious to grow within a role over time
