Overview
A wonderful family of 4 located in San Francisco, CA is seeking a dedicated and experienced housekeeper to join their team ASAP. The general schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, 45 hours per week guaranteed. The family has 2 young children, who have their own nannies, and additional staff in the home, the housekeeper must be a team player, and comfortable around kids and in a busy household. This family will prioritize candidates who are experienced, have a great work ethic, attention to detail, and knowledge of proper laundry care. The position is currently only open to candidates local to the Bay Area.
Responsibilities
- Overall housekeeping, cleaning, and tidying the 9,000 sq ft house
- Laundry- treating delicate clothing and handling ironing as needed
- Helping to keep various items stocked in tandem with the personal assistant- for example, all cleaning supplies, snacks and bottled water, toiletries, and socks/underwear- organizing and keeping closets and toiletries organized
- Noticing and notifying the family’s PA of any needed repairs around the home
- Event prep like making sure the house is cleaned for events and helping chef with table setting
- If the candidate is comfortable helping the chef when the family hosts dinners (basic food prep, serving drinks) that would be a huge plus but is not required

- Has worked in a household with a larger staff (PA, nannies, chef)

Requirements
- Previous experience as a housekeeper

- Must be comfortable around kids
- Must have a US Passport, Green Card, or EAC
