Overview
A highly private principal is seeking a professional, detail-oriented housekeeper to support the daily upkeep of a luxury condominium in San Francisco. The working residence is approximately 7,000 square feet, though overall lifestyle demands are calm, orderly, and low-traffic. This is a straightforward housekeeping role focused exclusively on maintaining a pristine, organized environment. There is no cooking, childcare, elder care, pet care, or complex household management required. The ideal candidate values discretion, efficiency, and professionalism in a refined setting.
The schedule will be five days per week, with two non-consecutive days off. The position guarantees 30 hours per week, with the option to guarantee up to 40 hours for the right candidate. Daily hours typically range from 3 to 6, depending on workload and priorities. Tasks will be coordinated and prioritized in partnership with the principal’s assistant. The goal is to hire as soon as possible while prioritizing long-term fit and reliability.
Responsibilities
Perform detailed daily tidying and upkeep of a 7,000 sq ft luxury condominium.
Manage dish-washing, including loading and unloading the dishwasher.
Handle laundry, including washing, folding, organizing, and coordinating dry cleaning.
Maintain clothing and closet organization.
Change bed linens every 2–3 days.
Vacuum and maintain overall cleanliness standards.
Empty trash, reset surfaces, and maintain orderly presentation of all living spaces.
Follow direction and task prioritizing from the principal’s assistant.
Qualifications
Prior experience working in high-end private residences, luxury condos, or similarly refined environments.
Strong understanding of discretion and confidentiality in private settings.
Detail-oriented with pride in maintaining immaculate spaces.
Professional demeanor with a calm, unobtrusive presence.
Ability to take direction and execute tasks efficiently without micromanagement.
Mandarin language skills are strongly preferred (basic proficiency acceptable), though not required.
Requirements
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Available to work five days per week with ttwo non-consecutive days off.
Willing to be employed on a W-2, non-exempt structure.
Able to provide strong references and pass background screening.
