Overview
A sweet young family of three is seeking a full-time nanny to assist with their 5-year-old and 5-month-old sons at their home in Armonk, NY. The schedule for this role is Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday- four weekdays and one weekend day, approximately 40 hours with the opportunity for overtime. The family is hoping to find someone who is flexible with their schedule- the family is able to be flexible as well. The older child will be in school until 3pm on weekdays, so the morning will mainly involve infant care as well as some family assistant duties. This role is five-day live-in, and the accommodations will be a full apartment in the basement of the home, including separate laundry and kitchen. The family needs someone who can start by September when their baby nurse leaves, but they are open to having someone start in late May/early June if they find the perfect fit!
Responsibilities
- Maintaining an engaging and creative environment- games, imaginative play, spending time outside
- Planning fun activities and outings
- Child related tidying and organization- the family has a housekeeper, so no deep cleaning is required
- Children's meal preparation
- Child-related laundry
- Facilitate learning and development
- Occasional travel, domestic and international
Qualifications
- Ability to work collaboratively with parents
- Experience with multiple young children
- Team player- able to work with other staff
- Educationally focused
- Kind and playful
- Engaging and active- able to keep up with busy young boys
Requirements
- Driver's license and clean driving record- the family will provide a car for work use
- At least 10-15 years of experience
- Infant, toddler, and preschool experience
- Able and willing to travel domestically and internationally a few times per year
Salary and Benefits
