Overview
A loving family on the UWS is seeking an afterschool nanny to help keep them on track! The children are 6 and 8 years old. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 3pm-7:30pm. The nanny should already be local to the NYC area as the family is not looking to relocate anyone. The position is currently hiring with a September start, immediately following Labor Day.
Responsibilities
- Pick up the children from the bus/school
- Supervise afterschool activities (piano, chess, etc)
- Meal prep/cook on occasion
- Dinner routine
- Bath and bedtime routine - Parents are usually home for dinner and bedtime, so the nanny can tidy up during that time (dishes, wipe down the dinner table and counters, take out the trash, etc.).
- Occasionally run errands (such as picking up a prescription or getting milk from the corner store)
- Child-related tasks include laundry and tidying up spaces and belongings, receiving packages, and putting them away.
- Helping out with occasional tasks around the home
Requirements
- Must be legal to work in the US
- College degree
- Driving is not required
- Fully vaccinated
- Traveling is not required, but a plus if the nanny is interested
Salary and Benefits
The family is offering $40/hr.
