Overview
A warm, down-to-earth family on the Upper West Side is seeking a full-time nanny to care primarily for their 8-month-old baby boy. The family also has a 4-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son who are primarily cared for by their grandmother. The ideal candidate is emotionally intelligent, low-key, and confident—someone who can take direction, work collaboratively with hands-on parents and a loving grandmother, and bring positive, steady energy to the household.

Schedule:Monday–Friday, 8am–6pm

Responsibilities
- Provide loving, attentive care for an 8-month-old baby throughout the day
- Plan and engage in age-appropriate, developmental activities
- Support daily routines including naps, feedings, and playtime
- Collaborate closely with mom and grandmother to align on caregiving approach
- Maintain a tidy and organized home environment, focusing on child-related areas
- Handle light household duties including:
- Swiffering floors
- Loading/unloading the dishwasher
- Tidying play areas and common spaces
- Assist with occasional child-related laundry (housekeeper handles family laundry)
- Support transitions such as morning handoffs and dinner prep time
- Bring a calm, respectful presence while blending seamlessly into a busy home
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional nanny experience, including experience with infants
- Emotionally intelligent, adaptable, and comfortable taking direction
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a collaborative family team
- Fully vaccinated (including COVID)
- Fluent in English; second language (Spanish, Tagalog, Hindi, etc.) a plus
- Experience working in a Jewish household or awareness of kosher-style homes preferred (no pork or shellfish)
- Legal to work in the U.S.
Salary and Benefits
- $35-$38/hr + applicable overtime for 10 hrs weekly ($100k-$109k)
