Overview
A busy family of four is seeking a temporary full-time nanny to assist with their children, ages 6 and 3, from January 1-May 31. The schedule for this role is as follows- Monday 7am-10:30am, Tuesday and Wednesday 7:00am-6:30pm, and Thursday 7am-Friday 8:30am. This totals 40 active waking hours, and one overnight on-call (Thursday night).
Responsibilities
- Care and engagement of the children during waking hours
- Overseeing meal, hygiene, and bedtime routines
- Initiating and participating in creative and age-appropriate activities at home
- Planning and executing outings throughout the weekend
- Basic healthy children's meal preparation
- Maintaining boundaries and discipline in line with the parents' philosophies
- Keeping children's spaces tidy and organized
Qualifications
- Engaging and warm
- Solid team player, as the family has a cohesive and established household team
- Playful and energetic
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Excellent communication skills
Requirements
- US work authorization
- At least 5 years of nanny experience
- Willing to stay up-to-date on vaccinations, including yearly flu vaccine and recommended Covid boosters
- Able to commit to the full 5 months
Salary and Benefits
- $35/hr.
- $200 for on-call overnight shift
