Overview
A loving downtown NYC-based family is looking for a top-notch weekend nanny to assist with the care of their little boy. The schedule for this role is Saturday and Sunday, 9am-6pm. The family is also open to providing 3-5 additional hours on weeknights, depending on availability.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the morning routine, breakfast, and getting the child ready for days' activities
- Tag-team with parents to plan activities and care for the 1-year-old
- Engage the child with age-appropriate play and educational activities
- Maintain a balance between keeping the routine (napping and meals in the home) while also proactively getting out on walks and local adventures
- Assist with evening routine; dinners and getting child ready for bed (if doing any nights)
- Maintain tidiness of home (no deep cleaning required)
Qualifications
- Able to work alongside parents in a team environment
- Experience with all ages, particularly with toddlers
- Positive, caring, can-do attitude
Requirements
- Legal to work in US
- Experience with toddlers
- MUST be able to work weekends
- Excellent, verifiable references
Salary and Benefits
- $35-$40/hr based on experience
