Overview
A sweet family of five is seeking a full-time housekeeper/cook to work at their home on the Upper West Side. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 12 or 1pm - 7pm.
Responsibilities
- All housekeeping for a three bedroom apartment, including deep cleaning and daily tidying
- Family laundry
- Basic meal preparation- simple family style dinners, following a recipe (healthy)
- Local errands, such as dropping off dry-cleaning or sending packages
- Grocery shopping as needed
- Admitting and supervising vendors in the home
- Very occasional childcare if the nanny is sick
Qualifications
- Family friendly- this is not a childcare position, but there are children in the home and the candidate should feel comfortable working with and around them
- Proactive and detail-oriented
- Warm and kind
- Comfortable in the kitchen- the family is not seeking a chef, but someone who is comfortable preparing simple meals on a weekly basis

- Experience in housekeeping with a busy family
- Cooking in the kitchen, simple and healthy meals
Salary and Benefits
- $35/hr - 40/hr
- 2 weeks PTO
