Overview
A busy, kind family is seeking a dynamic, full-time live-out executive housekeeper for their 6,000 sq foot Upper West Side townhouse. The schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm, with little flexibility to have someone available on weekends, if possible. This family is seeking a top-notch candidate who has experience managing a busy, high-end home and impeccable organizational skills. The family has cats, so you should be okay with pets.
Responsibilities
- Deep cleaning the house, especially the kitchen and living room
- Cleaning the bathroom and bedrooms that are in use (usually only two or three at a time),
- Laundry (must be good with delicates and knits)
- Helping to take care of cats
- Sorting trash
- Keeping the sidewalk outside the townhouse clean
- Keeping the outdoor areas clean (terrace, roof, etc.)
Qualifications
- A trustworthy candidate who is honest, works incredibly hard, is a self-starter, and has high communication skills and intelligence4
- Team player- the family has a solid existing staff structure
- Self-starter who takes initiative
- Discreet and polished
- Willing to help in the kitchen as needed
- Kind and joyful presence
- "No job is too big or too small" attitude
Requirements
- US work authorization
- Experience in high-end homes and with fine furnishings and linens
- Laundry and wardrobe experience is required for this role
- Can ideally work some hours on a weekend day
- Experience with service and comfortable interacting with both vendors and guests
Salary and Benefits
- $45 per hour
- 10 days PTO
- Bank holidays off
