Overview
A busy downtown Manhattan Family is in search of a part-time weekend housekeeper to join their team. This schedule is flexible and open for the right person- either Saturday and Sunday, or just 8am to 8pm on Sunday. When you apply, please write what days and hours work for you long-term.
Responsibilities
- Housekeeping, tidying and general interior care
- Laundering of clothes and linens; pressing/steaming as needed
- Manage the family’s laundry
- Packing and unpacking principals bags
- Managing the inventory of household supplies, including breaking down boxes
- Cleaning out the Fridge and running to the store
- Sending out clothes to the dry cleaner and receiving them
- Basic food prep (e.g., washing and cutting fruit to store for kids, washing lettuce to store for salads, etc.)
- Errands
Qualifications
- Proactive and 5 steps ahead
- Friendly and able to work around a busy family
- Happy to be in a family environment on the weekend
Requirements
- Able to work weekends
- Able to run errands and be out and about
- Self-directed
