A private family is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to oversee the daily care and maintenance of their San Francisco residence, with occasional support at their Palo Alto home. This is a fully staffed, high-end household that requires a polished, proactive professional with strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach to housekeeping.The Executive Housekeeper will be responsible for upholding exceptional standards throughout the property while working collaboratively with other household staff to ensure seamless day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) households and a deep understanding of fine home care, organization, and discreet service.
Responsibilities
• Oversee and execute daily housekeeping to maintain the residence to the highest standards
• Perform hands-on cleaning of all areas including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common spaces
• Care for fine furnishings, artwork, and delicate surfaces including marble, wood, and specialty materials
• Manage laundry, ironing, steaming, and wardrobe care for the principals
• Maintain organization of closets, storage areas, and household systems
• Monitor and manage household inventory and supplies
• Assist with packing and unpacking for travel as needed
• Coordinate with other household staff to ensure seamless operations
• Prepare the home for principals’ arrivals, guests, and special occasions
• Assist with light service support and occasional event preparation with the chef and team
Schedule: Sunday – Thursday Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM Benefits: Health insurance, PTO, sick days, 401(k), and discretionary performance bonuses
Requirements
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role within a private UHNW household
• Strong knowledge of formal housekeeping standards and luxury home care
• Experience overseeing or working alongside household staff
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Professional demeanor with a high level of discretion
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Strong references from previous employers
• Valid U.S. work authorization
