Overview
A busy Miami-based family (2 adults and 3 children) seeks a wonderful Personal Assistant/House Manager. This is a Monday-to-Friday role, with flexibility out of hours. The family will not offer relocation assistance.
Responsibilities
- Regular property inspections, ensuring extremely high standards are upheld
- Ensure the property is well-maintained and all systems (e.g. HVAC, plumbing, electrical) are functioning properly.
- Staff training and oversight, keeping an eye on daily operations and effectiveness
- Overseeing property upkeep, including cleaning, organization, and seasonal maintenance
- Serve as point person for all staff as well as for the principals, vendors and contractors
- PA duties for the principals, to include reservations, personal shopping, managing online ordering and returns, booking travel and creating itineraries
- Diary management for the family
- Manage and maintain inventory of household items, ensuring that all supplies are fully stocked and in good condition
- Management of events and household projects, including supervising, coordinating and negotiating with exterrnal contractors
- Ensuring quality provision and value from all external and internal providers
- Manage project time-lines, budgets, and quality control, ensuring that all work is completed to specifications
Requirements
- An adaptable and flexible personality is appreciated, as is a service oriented approach to the role.
- Familiarity with the Miami area, with a fabulous black book of contacts and an ability to maintain great relationships with all external providers
- Discreet, professional, warm and very much a team-player
- Ability to work independently with a no task too large or too small frame of mind
- Positive mind-set with a calm, considerate approach
- Effective communication skills, empathetic and with a great sense of humour
- Reliable, loyal and honest, supportive of the family and the wider team
- Comfortable in an UHNW environment and familiar with the requirements and expectations this brings
