Overview
A loving family of four living in West Palm Beach, FL is in search of a live-out Newborn Care Specialist to help with their second child. The role is 4-5 nights per week for 4 to 6 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Always prioritizing the safety and wellbeing of the newborn
- Providing overnight newborn care and monitoring
- Assisting with feeding schedules
- Preparing bottles and maintaining proper sanitation of all feeding equipment
- Washing, sterilizing, and organizing bottles and pump parts
- Performing overnight diaper changes and maintaining infant hygiene
- Implementing soothing techniques and settling the baby back to sleep
- Supporting the development of healthy sleep habits and age-appropriate sleep routines
- Maintaining and adjusting sleep and feeding schedules as the baby grows
- Keeping detailed overnight logs of feedings, sleep patterns, diaper changes, and observations
- Maintaining a clean, organized nursery environment
- Sanitizing newborn equipment, bottles, and feeding areas
Qualifications
- The right candidate will have a positive and warm demeanor, glowing references, and plenty of experience
- Flexible and easy going personality
- Team player willing to work with parents
Requirements
- At least 3 years of verifiable experience working as a newborn care specialist
- Up to date on Flu/RSV/TDap and MMR vaccinations
- First Aid and CPR certified, or willing to certify before employment begins
- Available to commit to the entire placement
- Excellent verifiable references
- Local to West Palm Beach, FL
Salary and Benefits
- DOE starts at $45 per hour but the family is open
