We are seeking a dedicated, energetic, and highly experienced full-time nanny to provide attentive, nurturing, and engaging care for our three wonderful school-aged children: a 4-year-old girl, a 7-year-old boy, and a 10-year-old boy. The role includes child-related housekeeping tasks, meal preparation (primarily on weekends), and flexible coverage from Wednesday through Sunday (approximately 50 hours/week). This includes Friday and Saturday overnight/sleepover nights (live-in).
Schedule (Flexible based on family needs)
- Wednesday–Friday: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Saturday–Sunday: Starting at 8:00 AM (with Friday & Saturday sleepover nights)
- Total: ~50 hours/week, with occasional adjustments as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate, and engaging care for children ages 4, 7, and 10
- Manage morning and bedtime routines
- Prepare nutritious, child-friendly meals and snacks on weekends
- Safely transport children to school, appointments, activities, and events (valid driver’s license and clean driving record required)
- Supervise homework, after-school activities, and playtime
- Maintain organized, tidy child spaces (bedrooms, play areas, and belongings)
- Handle children’s laundry, wardrobe organization, and light child-related housekeeping
- Collaborate closely with parents to ensure structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional childcare experience in private homes
- Outstanding professional references from previous families
- Strongly preferred: Proven experience supporting children on the autism spectrum or with neurodiverse needs
- Warm, patient, emotionally attuned, and an excellent communicator
- Highly reliable, proactive, organized, energetic, and adaptable to changing schedules
- Intelligent, forward-thinking, and able to take initiative in a dynamic household
- Comfortable with occasional domestic family travel (as needed; optional based on availability)
- Flexible for summer coverage (e.g., rotational 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, or mutually agreeable schedule)
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate: $45/hour weekdays; $55/hour weekends
- Overtime paid as applicable
- Full benefits package (including health insurance)
- Overnight fee: $150 per sleepover night
