Overview
A family on the Upper West Side is seeking a full-time nanny, or potentially two nannies, to provide attentive, full-charge care for their two-month-old son. The family is looking for consistent, structured coverage and a professional who is deeply passionate about childcare and early childhood development. The desired coverage is approximately 55 hours per week from 8am to 7pm Monday through Friday, with additional evening and weekend coverage as needed. Flexibility to structure coverage across one or two caregivers with one shift Monday through Thursday, and the second shift Friday through Sunday is an option. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated, experienced nanny/nannies seeking a long-term role with a thoughtful and engaged family.

Responsibilities
- Provide full-charge, sole-care responsibility for an infant, ensuring safety, nurturing, and developmental support
- Establish and maintain a structured daily routine, including feeding, naps, and age-appropriate activities
- Engage the child in enriching developmental activities, including walks, classes, play-dates, and outings
- Support social development by facilitating play-dates and hosting age-appropriate interactions
- Maintain a clean and organized child-focused environment
- Assist with light household tasks related to the child and contribute as a team player within the home
- Prepare bottles and assist with light meal preparation as the child grows
- Be available for occasional overnight support as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of professional nanny experience (career nanny preferred)
- Genuine passion for working with children and strong knowledge of infant development and beyond
- Engaged, proactive, and attentive with a “no task too small” mindset
- Professional, collaborative, and easygoing demeanor
- Strong judgment, reliability, and commitment to safety
- Comfortable working in a home where a parent may occasionally work remotely
- Open-minded, flexible, and willing to adapt to evolving family needs
Requirements
- Pet-friendly. The family may get a dog in the future
- Short commute to the Upper West Side
- Strong command of the English language
- Ability to travel is not required, but would be a significant plus
- Legal to work in the U.S.
Salary and Benefits
The family is offering $40/hour, PTO, OMNY, and a negotiable health care stipend
