A private family is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeper to support the day-to-day operations across two luxury residences in Malibu and Hidden Hills. This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative household team and contribute to maintaining beautiful, high-standard environments across multiple properties.
This role is primarily focused on interior housekeeping, with light outdoor upkeep as needed when the residences are in use. The properties are actively utilized by multiple family members and guests, requiring a high level of readiness, flexibility, and attention to detail. The Housekeeper will initially train in Malibu and rotate between both locations, with long-term placement determined based on team structure and household needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Flexibility required for weekends and extended hours when the family is in residence
- Full-time, 40 hours/week (with potential for additional hours during peak usage)
- Travel between Malibu and Hidden Hills may occasionally be required
- Perform detailed daily, deep, and rotational cleaning to five-star standards
- Care for high-end finishes, furnishings, and specialty surfaces
- Maintain kitchens and pantries, including:
- Organising and labelling items
- Checking expiration dates
- Restocking supplies
- Refresh bathrooms and monitor household inventory (linens, toiletries, supplies)
- Support guest readiness and turn-down service when the family is in residence
- Light outdoor upkeep when needed (e.g., resetting lounge areas, clearing debris, light sweeping)
- Collaborate closely with the Estate Manager and broader household team
Ideal Candidate
- Experienced in large, fully staffed UHNW homes
- High attention to detail and pride in maintaining beautiful environments
- Positive, team-oriented attitude (proactive, solutions-oriented, and collaborative)
- Flexible and adaptable to changing household needs and schedules
- Comfortable with a physically active role (stairs, multi-level homes, indoor/outdoor flow)
- Able to commute to both Malibu and Hidden Hills as needed

- Hidden Hills property is more structured, with consistent daily use and operations
