Overview
A prestigious UHNW client in London is seeking a professional Butler to join an established household team. Working alongside one other Butler, you will provide exemplary service to a busy VIP family, ensuring their home is maintained to the highest standards and their daily needs are anticipated with discretion and care.
This is a live-out, full-time role with some travel to accompany the family on vacations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service to the Principals and guests, ensuring a welcoming and well-organised environment at all times.
- Manage guest arrivals and departures, oversee front-of-house operations, and maintain smooth daily household flow.
- Ensure all rooms, outdoor spaces, and service areas are pristine, operational, and ready for use.
- Anticipate the needs of the Principals and family, including support with children’s schedules, travel preparation, and day-to-day requirements.
- Liaise with chefs and household staff to coordinate food and beverage service, table settings, and seamless household operations.
- Assist across kitchen and service areas, including serving, clearing, polishing, spot cleaning, and maintaining high presentation standards.
- Manage purchasing, stock control, inventories, and oversee supplements, medications, and household readiness/security procedures.
- Support the planning and delivery of events and undertake additional ad hoc duties with flexibility, professionalism, and a proactive attitude.
Candidate Requirements
- Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours and duties.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required.
- Valid UK or EU passport.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Immaculate personal presentation and professionalism at all times.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Discreet, trustworthy, and confident with strong interpersonal skills.
- Attentive, proactive, patient, and self-assured, with a non-smoker preference.
