A highly successful private family based in New York City is seeking an experienced Butler & Household Manager to join their close-knit household team in a rotational capacity.

Working alongside a second Butler/Household Manager, you will rotate the schedule to ensure seamless support is always available within the residence. The exact rotation is flexible and will be agreed with the successful candidates.
The Role
This is a hands-on, varied position combining traditional butler duties with household management and personal support. No two days will be the same, and the ideal candidate will be confident adapting to changing priorities while maintaining the highest standards of discretion and professionalism.
Responsibilities will include:
- Delivering exceptional formal and informal service within the residence.
- Supporting the principal with day-to-day personal assistance, including errands, packing, unpacking, and general lifestyle support.
- Assisting with entertaining and ensuring guests receive an outstanding level of hospitality.
- Providing steward/ess-style service onboard the principal's private aircraft when travelling.
- Maintaining the smooth day-to-day running of the residence while working closely with the wider household team.
- Travelling with the principal as required.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience within a private household, superyacht, luxury hospitality, or similar UHNW environment.
- Strong food and beverage service skills, including formal silver service.
- Professional, discreet, and exceptionally well presented.
- Calm under pressure with excellent attention to detail.
- Flexible and adaptable, with a genuine service-led attitude.
- Comfortable travelling internationally when required.

Essential Requirements
- US Passport or Green Card.
- Must already be based within commuting distance of New York City.
- Full driving licence.
- Flexible with working hours and travel.
Package
- Salary: $150,000–$180,000 DOE.
