Job title: Head Housekeeper

A wonderful opportunity has become available for an experienced and detail-oriented Head Housekeeper to join a fully staffed private estate. Working alongside an established housekeeping team, you will help maintain the residence to exceptional standards while ensuring seamless daily household operations.

Schedule
This schedule has been designed to provide overlapping coverage with the existing housekeeping team.
- Sunday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM (10 hours)
- Monday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (9 hours)
- Tuesday: 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM (9 hours)
- Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM (6 hours)
- Thursday: 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM (6 hours)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed cleaning throughout the residence to exceptional standards.
- Care for bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and guest spaces.
- Complete laundry, ironing, folding, and wardrobe care.
- Change bed linens and ensure all rooms remain impeccably presented.
- Organize closets, storage areas, and household supplies.
- Work collaboratively with fellow housekeepers to maintain seamless daily coverage.
- Report maintenance issues and replenish household inventory as needed.
- Maintain complete discretion and confidentiality while working within the private residence.
Candidate requirements
- Previous experience working in a private household, estate, or luxury hospitality environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and pride in maintaining immaculate standards.
- Positive, professional, and service-oriented attitude.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Flexible, reliable, and proactive in anticipating household needs.
- Prior professional housekeeping experience in a luxury residence or comparable environment preferred.
- Excellent references.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including standing, lifting, bending, and extended periods of movement.
