Overview
A stay-at-home mother is seeking an experienced, collaborative Mommy’s Helper/Family Assistant to provide support with childcare and the day-to-day running of the home. The family has a four-month-old baby and a three-year-old son who attends school full-time.
The family's longtime nanny and household helper, who has been with them for 3.5 years and has become an important part of the family, is unexpectedly returning home for a while. The family is looking for temporary support while they determine whether she will ultimately be able to return. The hope is to find someone who can become a long-term member of the household if the position becomes permanent. They will know within 4-5 months if it will be permanent, but just need help for the time being.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working alongside a parent and sees themselves as a true extra set of hands. The family is looking for someone who can naturally jump in with whatever needs to be done, from preparing the children for school to cooking, organizing, laundry, and caring for the baby.
