Title: Head Housekeeper
Location: Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 DOE
Work Schedule: Permanent, full time (45 hours over 5 days)
Accommodation: 2 Bedroom Flat, separate to the main house

The Opportunity
Achieve Hospitality are delighted to be assisting our client with the appointment of an experienced and highly professional Head Housekeeper to join the household team of a substantial private country estate in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Head Housekeeper who takes genuine pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards and enjoys working as part of a professional, discreet and well-organised household team.
The estate is set within 25 acres of land and offers extensive private facilities and entertaining spaces.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day running and presentation of the household, ensuring the interiors are maintained to an impeccable standard while working closely with the wider household and estate teams.
Key Responsibilities
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience within a private household, luxury hotel or similarly high-end environment.
- Previous experience at Head Housekeeper, Senior Housekeeper or equivalent level.
- Exceptional attention to detail and an uncompromising approach to presentation and cleanliness.
- Excellent knowledge of luxury cleaning techniques, fine fabrics, furnishings and household care.
- Strong laundry, ironing and wardrobe management skills.
- Good cooking ability and confidence preparing family-style meals.
- Experience working within a structured private household environment.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- A proactive, flexible and hands-on approach to their work.
- The ability to work independently while also managing and collaborating with a wider household team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A discreet, trustworthy and respectful approach, with a strong understanding of confidentiality.
- A genuine passion for private service and maintaining an exceptional home environment.
