Overview and Opportunity
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly professional Nanny to join a fully staffed UHNWI private household based in Dubai, caring for two young children aged 4 and 2.
Job Description
The successful candidate will provide warm, attentive and stimulating care while supporting the children’s development, routines, education and overall wellbeing. The family travels internationally, so the ability to travel extensively and adapt to different environments and schedules is essential.
This is a hands-on childcare position, working closely alongside the parents, existing nannies, household staff and education professionals. The ideal candidate will be nurturing and engaging while also confident in establishing routines, boundaries and positive behaviour.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional day-to-day care for two children aged 4 and 2.
- Support the children’s physical, emotional, social and developmental wellbeing.
- Establish and maintain consistent daily routines alongside the wider childcare team.
- Plan and provide age-appropriate activities, play and educational experiences.
- Support early literacy, phonics, reading, numeracy and school-readiness activities.
- Encourage independence, confidence, good manners and positive social development.
- Manage behaviour calmly and consistently using positive reinforcement.
- Recognise individual learning styles and developmental needs and adapt activities accordingly.
- Support the children with emotional regulation, concentration and age-appropriate coping skills.
- Organise and supervise outings, playdates, extracurricular activities and enrichment experiences.
- Prepare the children for school/nursery and assist with school-related routines, homework and reading.
- Maintain high standards of organisation around the children’s belongings, clothing, bags and activities.
- Travel extensively with the family internationally, maintaining routines and standards of care while away.
- Work collaboratively with parents, nannies, teachers, therapists and wider household staff.
- Maintain complete discretion and confidentiality at all times.
Candidate Requirements
- Significant professional experience as a Nanny within a private or UHNWI household.
- Experience caring for children aged approximately 2-5 years.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- A warm, nurturing and genuinely engaging personality.
- Confidence in managing behaviour and establishing appropriate boundaries.
- A proactive, organised and hands-on approach to childcare.
- The ability to create stimulating activities rather than relying heavily on screens.
- Experience working as part of a fully staffed household.
- Previous international travel experience with private families.
- Excellent discretion, professionalism and communication skills.
- Current paediatric First Aid/CPR certification.
- Excellent references and the ability to pass comprehensive background checks.
- SEN qualification or substantial experience supporting children with additional needs would be beneficial.
