The Role
A lovely opportunity has arisen for an experienced and reliable Part-Time Cleaner to join a long-established private household in Greater London.
The property is a beautiful historic private estate, which has been in the family for many years. The household includes a main residence, additional accommodation and extensive grounds, and requires a consistently high standard of care and attention to detail.
This is a live-out position and would suit someone looking for a stable, long-term role within a discreet and well-established private household.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the deep cleaning and ongoing upkeep of the property, ensuring it remains beautifully presented whether the family are at home or away.
Duties will include:
- Deep cleaning and general housekeeping throughout the property
- Cleaning and caring for wood, carpets, luxury fabrics and delicate surfaces
- Laundry and ironing
- Cleaning windows
- Maintaining kitchens and bathrooms to an excellent standard
- Cleaning and maintaining bedrooms and guest rooms
- Changing and making beds as required
- Ensuring the property is consistently clean, organised and beautifully presented
- Supporting with additional household cleaning when the family are in residence
- Working alongside the wider household team
Working Pattern
When the family are away, the usual working hours are:
Monday–Friday, 8am–1pm
When the family are in residence, additional flexibility may be required, including longer days and occasional Saturdays. As much notice as possible will be given.
About You
The ideal candidate will have strong professional cleaning or housekeeping experience, ideally within a private household, luxury residence, hotel or similarly high-end environment.
You will be:

- Highly detail-oriented
- Experienced in deep cleaning and caring for delicate or high-value materials
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload
- Discreet and respectful of the family's privacy
- Flexible when the family are in residence
