Overview
A busy family is searching for a rock-star afternoon nanny for their two elementary aged children. The role is Monday through Friday, from 2:30/3pm until 10 or 10:30pm. The family spends some time in the Hampton's and travels, but you are not asked to go with them. The family had their current nanny for 8 years and are looking for another long-term fit!
Responsibilities
- Accompany children home from school (within walking distance) and to after-school classes and play-dates
- Creating an engaging and fun environment
- Preparing snacks and meals for the children
- Child related laundry and tidying when needed
- Supervising homework and after-school/dinner routine
- Overseeing bed-time routine
- Helping with dinner clean up
- Running errands and helping out where needed
Qualifications
- Warm and caring, with a playful energy and high level of engagement
- Extremely reliable and punctual
- Understanding of household boundaries as the family is quite private
- Goal oriented- should enjoy setting goals for the child and executing those plans
- Proactive and 5 steps ahead at all times
Requirements
- Experience working with elementary aged children
- Legal to work in the US
- Looking for a long-term fit
