Overview
A newborn care specialist is sought for a warm, thoughtful couple preparing to welcome their first child in late December 2025. The baby will be born in Memphis, TN. The schedule will be 10-12 hours per night, 6-7 days per week until the end of February 2026.
The couple believe in professionalism, kindness, laughter and crystal clear communication — and they deeply value caregivers who bring expertise, calm, and empathy to newborn care.
Responsibilities
- Prioritizing the safety and well-being of the baby at all times
- Establishing a sleep schedule that the parents can follow once the newborn care specialist leaves
- Offer lactation advice to mom if needed
- Ensure the baby is on an established feeding schedule
- Provide professional, evidence-based guidance as it pertains to baby’s care, while respecting the family’s personal preferences
Qualifications
- Must ideally have at least 5 years' verifiable experience working as a newborn care specialist
- Candidates should be warm, collaborative, flexible, and supportive
- Candidates should have a wealth of experience in sleep training and preferably have baby on a consistent sleep schedule before the position ends
Requirements
- US passport, Green Card or EAC
- COVID vaccinated and up to date on Flu/RSV/Tdap and MMR vaccinations
- Available to commit to the full contract term until the end of February 2026
