Role: Full-Time Housekeeper
Location: Notting Hill, London
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 gross per annum, depending on live-in or live-out arrangement
Work Schedule:
- Live-out: 10:00 am – 7:30 pm
- Live-in: 7:30 am – 7:30 pm, with breaks during the day
- Working pattern: Sunday-Thursday or Monday-Friday
Accommodation:
- Current property: private bedroom with a separate bathroom
- From September: en-suite bedroom

A rare opportunity has arisen for a professional and highly reliable Housekeeper to join a discreet, private household in Notting Hill. The residence features furnishings and artwork requiring meticulous care, attention to detail, and expert handling. This role focuses on the smooth running, organisation, and presentation of the home, offering a long-term, stable position within a household that values discretion, professionalism, and dedication.
Role Responsibilities
- Daily housekeeping to the highest standard
- Thorough cleaning and maintenance of all areas of the home
- Care and organisation of wardrobes, including clothing, shoes, and accessories
- Laundry management, including delicate items and ironing
- Management of household systems, storage, and seasonal rotations
- Specialist care of furnishings, artworks, and luxury surfaces
- Support during household moves or reorganisation projects
- Occasional simple meal preparation if required
- Working collaboratively with household staff while maintaining discretion and confidentiality
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in high-end or private household housekeeping
- Expert knowledge of cleaning products and care of delicate or luxury items
- Highly organised, reliable, and proactive
- Enjoys working in a household with children and understands family dynamics
- Flexible approach to duties and working hours
- Excellent discretion, professionalism, and trustworthiness
- Language skills advantageous but not essential
