Overview
A longstanding BAHS family is seeking a top-notch infant nanny to join their team. The role will be Monday through Friday, and will start at 7:30am. It will be around 50-55 hours per week. British American has placed a full-time nanny with their 7-year-old and a weekend nanny, and this is an amazing home and team! The family is seeking someone to stay with them for 2-3 years during the infant/toddler stages.
Responsibilities
- Handle all infant care, including managing sleep and feeding schedules
- Washing bottles and sanitizing toys
- Preparing and introducing solids when the time comes
- Keeping her spaces organized and tidy
- Children's laundry
- Monitoring nursery inventory and working with parents to maintain supplies
- Getting her out and about on a daily basis (weather permitting), including walks and trips to the park, and scheduling classes and play-dates as she gets older
- Communicating with parents and the team about milestones and development
- From time to time, help with a 7-year old who also has her own nanny, but needs someone with a team mentality approach and ability to work well with others
Qualifications
- Excellent track record of taking care of infants and toddlers
- Okay with a 2-3 year role
- Experience working in roles that are 10-11 hours per day
- This is an amazing family with a great team, and they are looking for another stellar nanny who loves their work!
Requirements
- Recent experience with infants and toddlers
- CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to get certified immediately
- Up-to-date on infant vaccines, including TDap and MMR, and willing to get annual COVID and Flu boosters
- Okay taking precautions such as wearing a mask in crowded spaces when necessary.
