Job Description
The Live-In Estate Caretaker is responsible for maintaining the security, functionality, and overall condition of the residence. The role requires proactive problem-solving, technical aptitude, and the ability to respond effectively to household needs and emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Maintain overall property security awareness (unarmed) and respond appropriately to safety concerns
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for household emergencies
- Conduct regular property checks to ensure all systems are operating correctly
- Perform routine home maintenance and preventative care
- Address minor repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, and general household issues
- Coordinate and oversee vendors, contractors, and service providers
- Ensure the residence remains secure, orderly, and well-maintained at all times
- Act with discretion and professionalism in all interactions
