Overview
A private and busy family of three living in the Hamptons is in search of a Newborn Care Specialist to join their team in mid-July. They will be welcoming their 2nd child and are seeking 20/7 coverage for at least 4 months, with the possibility of an extension. The NCS will have a private bedroom and bathroom, in addition to space in the nursery. The home has 2 dogs and several farm animals.
Responsibilities
- Prioritizing the safety and well-being of the baby at all times
- Provide professional guidance as it pertains to baby care while respecting the family’s personal preferences
- Encourage healthy sleep habits and follow safe sleep guidelines
- Implementing an effective sleep and feeding routine that the parents can continue once the contract has finished
- Baby laundry, bottle/pump part cleaning and sanitizing, and cleaning of toys and other baby items
- Recommending products for baby and the nursery
- Working collaboratively with parents, extended family, and other staff
- Traveling with the family as needed
Qualifications
- Warm, collaborative, and supportive
- Comfortable working with parents and other staff
- Trustworthy, reliable, and an effective communicator
- An easygoing and warm attitude
- Hands-on and resourceful, but also knows when to give the family space
Requirements
- At least 5 years experience as an NCS
- Excellent verifiable references
- Experience with 20/7 care
- US work authorization
- OK with animals
- Drama free
Salary and Benefits
- $600-700/day+ DOE
