Overview
A family comprising 2 dads and 9-year-old boy/girl twins is seeking an experienced live-on-property Domestic Couple. They need a couple to serve as the housekeeper and gardener/caretaker on their estate in Katonah, NY. The proposed schedule is 40 hours per week, Tuesday through Saturday, but flexibility as to schedule is required.
Responsibilities
- Housekeeping duties include main house, light cooking and occasional childcare
- Gardening/caretaking duties include performing minor repair work, some gardening and coordination with landscaper and outside contractors for maintenance of main house, outbuildings, lawns and formal gardens.
Requirements
- English speakers required but need not be first language
- Drivers license and own car strongly preferred
Salary and Benefits
- Accommodations are a newly renovated 600 sq. ft. one bedroom apartment with full kitchen, bath and laundry over carriage house adjacent to main house
- Compensation commensurate with experience and responsibilities
