Overview
A loving family with a seasonal summer residence in the Hamptons is looking for a polished top-notch butler to join the family. This would be a temporary role for July and August with the potential to become full-time. This is a fully-staffed home with support. There are two principals and three children. The family is seeking a local candidate in the tri-state area. Staff housing will be provided. Looking to hire immediately.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily functions of maintaining the home
- Manage cleanliness of exterior furniture, umbrellas, cushions, etc
- Care for fine furnishings, surfaces, art, silver, china, and crystal using appropriate methods
- Comfortable greeting guests and making cocktails at intimate dinner parties
- Events, luncheons, heavy entertaining
Requirements
- Legal to work in the US
- 5+ years of prior experience as a private high-end butler
- Experience working in the Hamptons is a plus
- Live locally or within a commutable distance to NYC
- Fluent in English
- Tech savvy
- Strong work ethic
- Attention to detail
- Proactive
- Comfortable working with young children in the home
- High level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism
- Team player mentality
Salary and Benefits
The family is offering $60hr.+ depending on experience. If this leads to a full-time position, benefits included would be:
