Overview
A relaxed ex-pat family of five living in Battersea, London, is seeking a meticulous and reliable housekeeper to maintain their 200 sqm, 4-bedroom, 5-bathroom residence. The ideal candidate will have high standards of cleanliness, experience with fine finishes, and a proactive attitude.
The schedule will be Monday–Friday (10:00 AM – 7:00 PM).
Responsibilities
- Full Housekeeping: Daily deep cleaning and maintenance of all rooms to a high standard.
- Laundry & Wardrobe Management: Handling delicate fabrics, washing, drying, and high-quality ironing/steaming.
- Specialist Care: Cleaning and polishing silverware and caring for high-end surfaces and furniture.
- Pet Care: Feeding and basic care for the family's two cats; sole-charge pet sitting/care required when the employers are traveling.
- General Maintenance: Emptying bins, organizing cupboards, and occasional grocery stocking or errand running.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a housekeeper within a high-end private household.
- Expert knowledge of cleaning products and techniques for silverware and fine materials.
- Comfortable being around cats.
- High level of discretion, honesty, and attention to detail.
- Excellent English communication skills.
