A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and personable Private Chef to join a European family based in Dubai.
The family are looking for a talented, reliable, and well-organised chef to take responsibility for the day-to-day cooking for the household. This is a low-key private family role, suited to someone who enjoys preparing fresh, high-quality food and becoming a trusted part of the household.
The family enjoys Mediterranean-style cuisine and simple, beautifully prepared food. There are no specific dietary requirements.
The Role
The successful Chef will be responsible for the family's daily meals, primarily covering lunch and dinner.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing fresh, high-quality meals for a family of four
- Primarily providing lunch and dinner service
- Generally preparing two-course meals
- Creating a varied menu based around Mediterranean cuisine and the family's preferences
- Shopping and sourcing fresh, high-quality ingredients
- Maintaining excellent kitchen hygiene and organisation
- Managing household food stocks and kitchen inventories
- Adapting menus according to the family's schedule and preferences
- Preparing occasional meals for guests when required
- Working independently and managing the kitchen with minimal supervision
About the Family
The family are European and based in Dubai. They lead a relatively low-key lifestyle and are looking for a Chef who will fit naturally into the household.
This is not a high-volume or heavily entertaining-focused position. The primary focus is on consistent, fresh and enjoyable family cooking, with occasional requirements for guests or small-scale entertaining.
The ideal Chef will enjoy Mediterranean cuisine and have a good understanding of fresh, seasonal ingredients and straightforward but well-executed dishes.
