Overview
A lovely family with two working parents on the Upper West Side is seeking a part-time afternoon/evening nanny for their four-year-old son and five-month-old daughter. The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 2-8pm.
Responsibilities
- Accompany the four-year-old home from school (within walking distance) and to after-school classes and play dates
- Creating an engaging and fun environment
- Preparing snacks and meals for the child
- Child related laundry and tidying when needed
- Infant care, particularly in the evening from 5-8pm
Qualifications
- Extremely reliable and punctual
- Warm and caring, with a playful energy and high level of engagement
- Understanding of household boundaries as the family is quite private
- Goal oriented- should enjoy setting goals for the child and executing those plans
- Experience with early school-aged children and infants
Requirements
- US work authorization
- Driving is NOT required
- Swimming is NOT required
Salary and Benefits
- $35-40/hr. on the books
- PTO
- Yearly discretionary bonus
