We are working with our long-term client in their search for a Tagalog-speaking Nanny/Housekeeper for their Chelsea home, with a salary on offer of £55,000 per year.
Job description
You will work as part of a dedicated team to support daily operations, including laundry care and morning family routines, as well as supporting the Principals with their children.
Candidates must be comfortable working around dogs and other animals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Daily housekeeping: dusting, polishing, vacuuming, floor care, and regular deep cleans.
- Clean bathrooms, windows, mirrors, skirting boards, doors, and high-touch areas.
- Empty rubbish/recycling and maintain organisation of cupboards and drawers.
- Full laundry care: sorting, washing, drying, ironing, folding, steaming.
- Wardrobe organisation, seasonal rotation, and children’s wardrobe management.
- Manage dry-cleaning, alterations, drapery steaming, and care for shoes/accessories.
- Prepare breakfast/smoothies when the chef is absent; support lunch service.
- Clean and maintain all kitchen areas, cupboards, and appliances.
- Polish cutlery, silver, and glassware; conduct inventory checks.
- Deep-clean fridges/freezers weekly.
- Monitor and restock supplies (cleaning, toiletries, pantry).
- Report repairs and coordinate contractors as needed.
- Greet guests, offer refreshments, and assist visiting professionals.
- Manage packages/deliveries and support errands, floristry, and light admin tasks.
- Assist with children’s morning routine, uniforms, and snacks.
- Maintain cleanliness of children’s bedrooms, bathrooms, and playroom.
- Manage children’s laundry and wardrobe, including age-appropriate organisation and purchasing.
- Liaise with family PA/mother regarding school items, activities, and appointments.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working in a private UHNW household
- Ability to work collaboratively within a fully staffed home
- Absolute discretion and confidentiality at all times
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
- Proactive, polished and highly professional demeanour
- Strong organisational skills and excellent time management
