Overview
A newborn care specialist is sought for first-time parents in San Mateo, CA, starting October 11. The schedule will be 24/7 with a 4-hour break each day, for a period of 2 months to start, with a possible extension from there (possibly up to 6 months).
Responsibilities
- Prioritizing the safety and well-being of the baby at all times
- Implementing an effective sleep/feeding routine that the parents can follow once the term ends
- Providing gentle professional guidance, while being receptive to the parents’ preferences
- Providing general support and assistance, wherever possible
Qualifications
- At least 5 years' experience as a newborn care specialist
- Must have a calm, kind demeanor and the ability to ‘read the room’
- Must be able to gently guide the parents while respecting their opinions/ preferences
- Must be CPR certified
Requirements
- US passport, Green Card or EAC
- COVID vaccinated and up to date on Flu/RSV/Tdap and MMR vaccinations
- Available to commit to the full contract term
