Overview
A loving family on the UES is seeking a live-in nanny for their two children. The family spends the summer in the Hamptons and travels internationally throughout the year, primarily for holidays. The children are 3 and 4.5 years old. The schedule is live-in Monday through Friday, and can go home on weekends. The candidate should be flexible if a weekend day or night is occasionally needed. The family is not looking to relocate anyone. Candidates should already be local or a commutable distance to NYC. The position is ready to hire upon finding the right candidate!
Responsibilities
In September, the girls will be in school. Responsibilities will then include:
- School drop-off/pick-up
- Help with homework
- Afterschool activities
- Using the time during the day to create activities, laundry for the children, etc.
- Prior experience with the toddler age range
- Understand milestones and how to engage the child educationally
- Comfortable with both parents working from home
- It is a fun and upbeat household seeking the same personality
- Spend summers in the Hamptons
- International travel for the holidays
- Valid and clean driver's license and ability to drive are required
- Ability to swim
- Positive attitude
- Respectful of the family's privacy
- Full of energy to keep up with the toddlers
Note: Live-in arrangements will include a private bedroom with a private bath and all meals.
Requirements
- Legal to work in the US
- Must have a college degree
- Education-related background is a plus
- Must be fluent in spoken and written English
- Spend summers in the Hamptons
- International travel for the holidays
- Valid and clean driver's license and ability to drive are required
- Ability to swim
